On Monday, May 9, BRTC President Dr. Eric Turner signed a memorandum of understanding with Central Methodist University (CMU) in Fayette, Missouri, a 4-year liberal arts university, for many BRTC graduates to seamlessly transfer to CMU and earn a bachelor degree online. Dr. Rita Gulstad, Provost, signed on behalf of CMU.
So often, students who transfer from one college to another find they have to take additional classes before they can begin their 4-year degree. To address this problem, BRTC is partnering with several 4-year universities like CMU who offer degrees of interest to BRTC students. Many of those degrees are available online, eliminating the need for students to move away or drive tens of miles to earn their degree.
BRTC students will be able to transfer to CMU and start coursework on a bachelor degree immediately after graduating with one of the following BRTC associate degrees: criminal justice, business, nursing, nutrition, addiction studies, health education, health services, accounting, and fire science.
