Title IX Training Materials
In accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and its implementing regulations, Black River Technical College (“BRTC”) posts all materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process.
These materials are posted exactly as they were provided by the trainer or training organization, without editing or abridgment.
Training Standards
All training provided to Title IX personnel:
- Complies with Title IX and U.S. Department of Education regulations;
- Does not rely on sex stereotypes;
- Promotes impartial investigations and adjudications; and
- Includes BRTC’s obligations to address sex discrimination, prohibited conduct definitions, scope of education programs and activities, and how to avoid prejudgment, conflicts of interest, and bias.
