Financial Aid

The BRTC Financial Aid office helps students apply for and manages all types of student financial support including scholarships, loans, and grants.

Apply for Financial Aid

Students must apply for financial aid.  Staff can help students with all of the following:

Pell and scholarship refund checks:  Mailed 30-45 days after the 1st day of classes.  Check myBRTC for updates.

Note:  Please be familiar with the Return of Title IV Funds Policy.

 

  • Loan checks will be mailed 7-10 business days from the disbursement date.
  • Students must be enrolled and started in 6 credit hours to be eligible for disbursement.

 

ALL refund checks will be mailed to the student’s most current address on file.

  • Please be sure to verify your mailing address that we have on file by checking  MyBRTC and if it is not current, you should update it by submitting an address change through MyBRTC.
  • MyBRTC will continue to reflect a message regarding refunds that will now indicate that a refund has been mailed to you.
