Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses.
- It provides part-time employment while you are enrolled in school.
- It’s available to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students with financial need.
- It’s available to full-time or part-time students.
Note: Students enrolled in the Nursing Programs are not eligible for Work Study due to scheduling conflicts.
You’ll earn at least the current federal minimum wage. Your total work-study award depends on
- when you apply,
- your level of financial need, and
- your school’s funding level.
Fall 2024 Positions
Student Affairs Student Worker in Pocahontas & Paragould
Duties will include providing quality customer service to students and visitors, answering phones, making student ID\’s, campus tours, stuffing envelopes and assisting with recruitment packets.
Library Assistant in Pocahontas
Assist patrons in the use of computer technology and searching for and locating information resources, checking in and out library materials, answering phones, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Career & Technical Center in Paragould
Monitor CTC students in the computer lab/classroom, assist instructors as needed, and perform all job duties with honesty and integrity.
Lab Assistant/Math Tutor Academic Success Center in Pocahontas
Math tutors must have completed upper-level math courses and be able to clearly explain how to calculate answers in a variety of math problems.
Finance Office in Pocahontas
Duties will include providing quality customer service to students and visitors, answering phones, and stuffing envelopes.
