Several BRTC Employees Retire

POCAHONTAS, AR Aug. 24—Five BRTC employees retired recently. Sonya Walker served as the Payroll Services Specialist from August 1999 through May 2004 and again from July 2010 through July 2020. Ronnie Walker served as the Construction Supervisor from August 2008 through July 2020. 

Sandy Baltz taught Fine Arts courses at the college from August 2000 through May 2020, and Jean Wilson taught Adult Education classes as an adjunct instructor from 1983 to 2014 before becoming a full-time instructor in August 2014 and retiring in May 2020. Tamela Thurman worked as the SNAP E&T Coordinator from September 2018 through June 2020.

Black River Technical College appreciates the service of these individuals and wishes them lengthy and joyous retirements.
