Sara Roland Named BRTC 2024 Academic All-Star

Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) has named Sara Roland of Marmaduke the 2024 Academic All-Star for Black River Technical College (BRTC). This award was voted on by BRTC faculty and staff.

“Sara is a great student,” Amanda Perdue, BRTC RN instructor, said, “She takes her education seriously and is always engaged in learning. I look forward to watching her grow into a Registered Nurse.”

Roland is a 2023 graduate of Marmaduke High School and is the daughter of Leslie and Teresa Roland of Marmaduke. She is pursuing a career in the nursing field.
