Respiratory Care Students Attend Seminar

Black River Technical College’s Respiratory Care students recently participated in the Arkansas Society for Respiratory Care Northeast District educational seminar that was held on June 10th at the ASU Heber Springs Campus.

Students were able to attend lectures over indirect calorimetry, pulmonary function testing, Vest Therapy, as well as an interactive lecture from AR Saves, a stroke prevention and treatment program from UAMS. Students were also able to network with practitioners and department directors from other hospitals throughout the NE district. These educational hours contribute to the students’ professional development required in their Professional Portfolio.
