Registered Nursing Instructor

Black River Technical College is seeking  a qualified applicant for the position of Registered Nursing Instructor. The positions are full-time, nine and a half-month yearly contract.

Position Description:

The position is responsible for course and clinical instruction for the traditional Associate of Applied Science Registered Nursing program. Primary responsibilities of the position is course and clinical instruction. Other duties include assisting in the practical nursing program, academic advisement, student recruitment and retention activities, course and program assessment, maintaining and completing course records and reports for approval and accrediting bodies, participation in various committee activities.  The position requires occasional travel for clinical instruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must possess a valid, unencumbered registered nursing license that is eligible to work in the state of Arkansas, and a minimum of two years’ experience in clinical nursing.  Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher, Masters preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in clinical or classroom instruction of nursing students. Applicants should be willing to continue their education through professional development.

Salary: Salary will be based upon educational level and experience.  BRTC offers competitive fringe benefits.
