POCAHONTAS, AR Mar. 15 –– On March 4, 2021, Chuck Long, Regional Educator for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) spoke to Black River Technical College’s Career and Technical Center (CTC) students about the history of hunting and fishing in the state of Arkansas and the potential for hunting and fishing courses to be offered at BRTC.

BRTC and the AGFC are currently working together to develop a new, for-credit Introduction to Hunting course that will be offered in the Fall of 2021 pending approval.  Long also discussed research job opportunities as well as other positions available within the AGFC organization.
