Paragould, AR May 19—The Paragould Local Electrical Apprenticeship program (PLEA) held its graduation on May 17, 2022. The program has a twenty-year history with the community and has had consistent leadership the entire time. The Board of the PLEA honored Dennis Gregory and his 20 years of service by presenting him with a Service and Recognition Award as well as a Henry 22 Rifle.

The apprenticeship program is a four-year program where sponsored students can take classes and earn hours toward a journeyman’s license.  Once the students complete their course work and their on the job training hours, they can graduate from the program and take their journeyman test. This year nine individuals have completed the four-year program and graduated.
