Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Instructional Support Specialist for the Distance Education department on the Paragould campus. This is a part-time, 15-25 hours a week, 12-month, non-classified position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Moodle users with questions; open and close Zoom sessions for CVN courses; manage enrollment in resource courses in Moodle; visits weekly with Paragould instructors; troubleshoot technical issues within LMS as needed; assist with planning of and conducting training for students, faculty, and staff; maintains an understanding of online course management, learning management systems, and other software and hardware to provide comprehensive distance education support to students, faculty, staff, and community members; assist with departmental initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum educational qualification is a high school diploma or GED equivalent. An Associate's degree is preferred. Experience with providing user support is also preferred. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the basic requirements.
