Adjunct Welding Technology

Black River Technical College is accepting applications for the following adjunct technical faculty positions:

WELDING Technology

The person filling this position will be responsible for course and laboratory instruction in the Welding Technology department at Black River Technical College at the BRTC Armory location in Piggott. Applicants will be working with both college and high school students as part of BRTC’s Career and Technical Center.

Positions needing filled in Piggott.

Classes for the Fall 2026 semester include the following topics:

  • Gas Shield ARC Welding
  • MIG Welding
  • Position Welding (AWS positions)

QUALIFICATIONS:

This person must have as a minimum an Associate degree; a Bachelor of Science is preferred. The candidate should have work experience in an Welding or closely related occupation. Teaching experience is also preferred. Candidates with any of the following will be given preference: AWS CWI certification, AWS certifications in GSAW, MIG Welding; Teaching experience.
