Mark Mosier Speaks at Northeast Arkansas Society of Human Resource Managers Meeting

Mark Mosier, LETA Instructor

POCAHONTAS, AR May 31—Mark Mosier, law enforcement instructor at Black River Technical College, was the guest speaker at the Northeast Arkansas Society of Human Resource Managers (NEASHRM) Chapter Meeting.  Mosier spoke to the attendees about how to prepare for and respond to workplace violence.

Mosier explained that although it is impossible to prepare for every possible workplace violence scenario, learning how to apply “basic tactics, techniques, and procedures has obvious benefits.”

Mosier worked as a Jonesboro police officer from 1994-2016. After retiring from the JPD, he was hired to teach in BRTC’s Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA). Mosier teaches officer trainees traffic accident investigation, firearms defensive tactics, CPR, and bleeding control training.
