Lacee Knight is awarded the iBERIABANK Scholarship

POCAHONTAS, AR October 19, 2020 – Lacee Knight of Woodlawn has accepted the IBERIABANK Scholarship, made possible by funding from IBERIABANK.  Knight is the daughter of Brad and Kristi Knight.  She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 2015 and is currently working towards a certificate for medical coding which will allow her to sit for the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification which is needed for employment in the medical coding field.  She will continue toward an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration.

The 2019 Annual iBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.  Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.
