Black River Technical College’s Law Enforcement Training Academy (LETA) Director, Jared Bassham, is pleased to announce that the guest speaker for the Fall 2022 LETA graduation will be Kevin Molder, Poinsett County Sheriff and former academy instructor at BRTC’s LETA program.

Molder was appointed Poinsett County Sheriff in 2017, after being Chief Deputy in the county since 1996. He is an adjunct instructor at Arkansas State University and a former LETA instructor at BRTC. He started his law enforcement career in 1994 as a jailer at the Craighead County Detention Center.

Sheriff Molder earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Art in Criminal Justice from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro. He is also a former BRTC graduate with an AAS in Criminal Justice.

The Fall 2022 LETA graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Randolph County Development Center on the Pocahontas campus. Graduation is open to the public.
