Ken and Jan Ziegler Pledge $50,000 to the BRTC Foundation

POCAHONTAS, AR May 3— Ken and Jan Ziegler have pledged $50,000 to the BRTC Foundation. A portion of their generous pledge will fund the recently established Ken and Jan Ziegler Bridge the Gap Scholarship, and a portion will be used for the naming rights of the BRTC Student Affairs complex.

Ken, a Civil Engineer who was a Watershed Project Engineer until his retirement with the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Jan, a former BRTC faculty and administration member for 20 years, serving as Vice President for Development and HLC liaison before retiring in 2013 and then serving as Interim President while the college was searching for a president in 2019, reside in Randolph County. Both Ken and Jan have servants’ hearts and prove that daily by being active members of several non-profit organizations.
