Juneteenth - Black River Technical College

Juneteenth is an American celebration of the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas. It is also known as the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the former Confederate States of America.

BRTC is happy to join the Eddie Mae Herron Museum and Center in co-sponsoring the Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 14 at the Eddie Mae Herron Center. Learn more about this special event and join in the fun!
