Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Grant Writer & Coordinator. This is a full time, 12-month non-classified position, funded through grant administrative costs and indirect cost recovery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the President, the Grant Writer & Coordinator oversees the process and production of all materials related to the grant proposal and application process. This position coordinates and analyzes college grants; researches grant opportunities; facilitates the grant development process with internal and external campus partners; writes grant proposals and completes applications; and ensures grant objectives and institutional objectives align.
SKILLS
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to function well in a team environment, be self-motivated, work independently with little supervision, and possess critical thinking skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing, public administration, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in grant research, writing, and development highly preferred. Exhibited success in securing grants for projects and programs must be demonstrated. A valid state motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
