The annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament held last weekend generated a record amount of funding for student scholarships and other needs, according to preliminary figures released by tournament officials. This year’s event generated just over $30,000, according to Tournament Chair Dina Hufstedler and IBERIBANK VP/Commercial Relationship Manager Kelly Rose, who is also a member of the BRTC Foundation Board.
IBERIABANK‘s sponsorship of the tournament annually includes a gift of $10,000, along with significant assistance from the bank’s employees in running the one-day event. “The folks from IBERIABANK, along with the many BRTC staff members who volunteer their time, make this event a success,” said BRTC President Dr. Wayne Hatcher. “We really appreciate each and every person who is involved. The continued financial support IBERIABANK provides is truly amazing. I also want to acknowledge the effort and commitment of Tournament Chair Dina Hufstedler in making sure that all aspects of the event were well organized and executed.”
