Foundation Board Member Graycen Bigger Named to AEDCE Board for 3rd Year

On August 30 at their annual meeting, the Arkansas Economic Developers & Chamber Executives (AEDCE) members named Graycen Bigger, Black River Technical College Foundation board member and executive director of the Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority, to the AEDCE board of directors for her second term as first congressional district representative and third term on the board.

“Graycen brings a wealth of economic development experience, community passion, and a workforce perspective that not only strengthens the Board but also and helps to shine a light on the many successes of our corner of the state,” said Dr. Martin Eggensperger, Black River Technical College president.

AEDCE is a statewide professional association representing economic developers and chamber executives in Arkansas.  It is an essential network of economic developers across Arkansas who work together to bring business and industry to the state.  It is through their work, in collaboration of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC), local chambers of commerce, and other community leaders, that new businesses such as Emerson in Ash Flat and U.S. Steel in Blytheville bring their operations to Arkansas.

Bigger is serving her second year on the AEDCE board as representative of the first congressional district.
