Custodial Services Supervisor

Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Custodial Services Supervisor. This is a full-time, non-classified, 12-month position.

The Custodial Services Supervisor reports to the Vice President of Finance & Administration and is responsible for planning, supervising, reviewing, and evaluating activities and staff tasked with custodial services.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide supervision, training, and work direction for custodial staff in all locations
  • Develop and implement schedules designed to ensure the completion of work within standardized levels of cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
  • Handle special cleaning assignments and emergencies
  • Order custodial supplies and maintain a sufficient inventory
  • Maintain records pertaining to custodial operations.
  • Inspects facilities for compliance with standards
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs with appropriate personnel 

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED, plus two or more years of experience in custodial work with a year in a supervisory capacity. A valid driver’s license is required.
