Colby Hostler Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Hannah Williams

POCAHONTAS, AR August 23, 2019 – The Colby Hostler Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Hannah Williams of Pocahontas.

Williams is a 2019 graduate of Sloan-Hendrix High School who is seeking an Associate of Arts in General Education and plans a career as a Chemistry Teacher.  She is the daughter of Jeremy Walton and Becky Swindle and the mother of EmiKate Williams.

The Colby Hostler Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Colby Hostler by his parents, Steve and Rhonda Higginbotham.  Colby would have graduated from Sloan-Hendrix in May 2017. To qualify for the scholarship applicants must be graduates of Sloan-Hendrix High School and have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA.
