Cavenaugh Family Scholarship Awarded for Fall

Last year\’s IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students who are attending BRTC this fall.  Each named scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The student is then awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and GPA requirements.

Cavenaugh Family Scholarship – Melissa Freeman of Reyno has been awarded the Cavenaugh Family Scholarship made possible by the Cavenaugh Family.  Freeman is a 1995 graduate of Biggers-Reyno High School.  She is the daughter of Lesley and Susan Hovis.  She and her husband Thomas have three children.  Freeman is working to become a Registered Nurse and obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
