On September 7, BRTC Student Government Association (SGA) members joined the BRTC College Administrative Council to introduce themselves.  BRTC is excited to have such a robust, enthusiastic group of students leading SGA.

BRTC’s SGA is an integral part of sharing student’s opinions and thoughts in the BRTC shared governance process.  Shared governance is unique to higher education.  Colleges and universities are expected to include faculty, staff, and students in many of the administrative decisions.  BRTC College Administrative Council is the shared governance committee for college employees who oversee other employees or lead departments. In addition, representatives from the Faculty Forum and Staff Forum are on the committee.
