BRTC’s Library Receives Praise from Members of the Community

BRTC\’s Library

POCAHONATAS, AR. Sept. 25. Mark Warnick, Black River Technical College’s Library Director, received an email from members of St. Paul’s youth group praising BRTC’s online library resources and explaining how valuable these resources were to them during the school closure due to COVID-19.

During the school closure last spring, a small group from St. Paul’s started a newsletter to help their peers who might be struggling with distance learning. The emailed praised BRTC’s library website, stating that it “has a lot of remote learning materials and sources for all subjects” and stating that these students wanted to “pass along their gratitude” for the sources made available to them through BRTC.

BRTC’s library mission statement is “to enhance learning by providing access to information that complements and supplements the college’s educational programs and courses.  The library seeks to provide ready access to information in a variety of formats so that students may successfully meet their academic, vocational, and personal development goals.”
