BRTC\’s Fall 2020 Semester Begins

BRTC Classrooms Set Up to Comply with Social Distancing Guidelines

POCAHONTAS, AR August 17, 2020 – Black River Technical College’s fall semester will begin on Monday, August 17, 2020. On-campus, hybrid, and online courses will start as scheduled. Scholarships are still available to qualifying students. The last day to add a class is Wednesday, August 19, 2020. 

BRTC is encouraging all students and employees to practice CDC-recommended best practices including social distancing, frequent handwashing, wearing masks if unable to social distance, and staying home if they feel sick.  Classrooms are set-up to follow CDC guidelines.  In addition, BRTC housekeeping has been practicing additional daily cleaning procedures to reduce the potential for COVID-19 infection including cleaning doorknobs to all offices, spraying disinfectant frequently, and shutting off unused rooms and classrooms to reduce exposure to the virus.
