Small Flyers Callum, Sadie, Brody, and Parker White and Staley Weber

PARAGOULD, AR May 3— On April 17, 2021, BRTC’s Corporate and Community Education Department hosted a Kite Flying Event.

Adults and children started the day by learning about the various types of kite designs and how to fly them.  Participants then assembled a kite and took it outside to fly it.

Priscilla Stillwell, Executive Director of Paragould Operations, states, “The history of kites is centuries old. They have been used for weather analysis, flight, war, and more. Sometimes it is just nice to have fun. Kites can do that, too!”
