BRTC Trap Team Takes 1st Place in Benefit Shoot

Black River Technical College (BRTC) had six members of the trap team compete in the City of Jacksonville Benefit Shoot in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Over 30 teams competed in the shoot and the BRTC trap team won 1^st place overall in the team division. Members of the winning team include Hayden Barlow, Larry Burrow, David Ladd, Connor Tuttle, Luke Hiser, and Ava Newton. The team was coached by Dane Dillion, director of student development.

Luke Hiser and David Ladd both scored a 49/50 and shared the title of highest individual score. Ava Newton also took home an individual title. With a score of 47/50, she had the highest individual score for the female division.
