While overall enrollment showed a slight decrease in headcount compared to Fall 2024, BRTC welcomed 253 first-time freshmen, bringing new energy to the pipeline of future graduates. The 12.6% increase in Career and Technical Center (CTC) enrollment reflects the growing determination among area high school students to have certifications and hands-on experience before high school graduation. It also reinforces BRTC’s vital role in preparing the region’s next generation of skilled professionals.

“Each year, BRTC adapts to changing demographics while staying laser-focused on building opportunity for students,” Jason Smith, Vice President of Student Affairs, said. “The growth in new freshmen and the significant increase in CTC enrollment show the confidence families place in BRTC to prepare students for the future.”

In total, BRTC serves nearly 5,000 individual students each academic year across credit-bearing courses, GED programs, and non-credit workforce training – demonstrating the college’s broad impact in education and workforce development throughout the region. Looking ahead, BRTC will continue to build on these strong foundations through new academic programs, expanded workforce partnerships, and ongoing investment in student support services.
