July 11, 2019  – To fulfill their educational curriculum, nursing students must have some clinical classes in pediatric nursing.  As part of their clinical rotations, BRTC\’s registered nurses are required to spend the weekend in Little Rock and work two 12-hour rotations in pediatric nursing.  On Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, students were able to fulfill their rotations at Arkansas Children\’s Hospital where they assisted in helping care for children with a variety of serious pediatric illnesses.

Because of the limited size of the rotation schedule and available clinical instructors, BRTC\’s RN class had to be split into two groups.   This coming weekend,  the other half of the RN class will work their two 12-hours rotations in pediatric nursing at Arkansas Children\’s Hospital.

This RN class will be graduating in December 2019.  For more information about Registered Nursing at BRTC, contact Ramonda Housh at (870) 248-4173 or email her at Ramonda.Housh@blackrivertech.edu.
