BRTC Hosts Vaccination Clinic

POCAHONTAS, AR April 14— On April 5, Black River Technical College hosted a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Randolph County Development Center.

Ninety-seven doses of the single-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine were administered by the Randolph County Health Unit staff. BRTC’s nursing and respiratory care students aided in the vaccination process.

BRTC was honored to play a role in the statewide vaccination effort. Karen Liebhaber, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, states, “BRTC is always delighted to support our communities in any way we can.  We are very happy to have been able to do even just this one thing to hopefully help our community overcome this pandemic!”
