Black River Technical College (BRTC) held its 2025 Summer Practical Nursing (PN) Graduation and Pinning ceremony on Thursday, June 26, in the Randolph County Development Center.
BRTC celebrated the graduation of 18 students who earned a technical certificate in practical nursing. The opening prayer was given by Caroline Graham and the Class Spokesperson was Brittany Everett. “Go Light Your World” was performed by Kathy Erazo, RN, BSN, and the final benediction was said by Kristina Mora.
Nursing faculty handed out multiple awards at the ceremony. The awarded PN graduates were Reagan Ralph, Most Community Service Hours; Lyndsi Cagle, Nursing Fundamentals Highest Theory Average; Alison Mann, Medical Surgical Nursing Highest Theory; and Kaylee Bradford, Nursing Specialty Highest Theory Average.
Nursing faculty also handed out Florence Nightingale Award. This award is given to the nurses who are “passionate and dedicated to the field of nursing and who exude excellence in the delivery of direct patient care.” The recipients were Lyndsi Cagle and Khaniya Callicutt.
