BRTC Holds Making Waves Beach Bash for Students

Black River Technical College (BRTC) hosted a Making Waves Beach Bash on the Paragould campus recently.

The beach bash is a student services fun day for students before finals begin that helps ease into the period of final exams. Students were treated to BBQ, games of connect four basketball, mechanical bull, bean bag toss, football, bouncy house, and the Be Pro Be Proud hands-on mobile workshop.

\”The Spring Signature Student Life Event on the Paragould Campus was a huge success. We had over 200 faculty, staff, current students, and potential students partake in the \”Beach\” themed event. Participants enjoyed BBQ nachos, assorted fruits, cookies, chips, tropical punch, selfie stations, and inflatable games, including connect four and a mechanical bull. The Division of Student Affairs is excited to be able to offer a fun day for students to relax, enjoy great food, have fun, and socialize with their peers,\” said BRTC Vice President of Student Affairs.
