BRTC Fills Three Administrative Positions

Three administrative positions at BRTC have been filled, according to Julie Edington, Director of Human Resources.  Brenda Gillogly of Helena has been named the new Vice President of Administration, Donna Statler of Pocahontas has been named Division Chair of General Education, and Phillip Dickson of Imboden has been named Division Chair of Technical Education.

Gillogly comes to BRTC from Phillips Community College in Helena where she has served as Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration for the past year.  Previous work experience includes VPA at Rich Mountain Community College, Director of Financial Services at Kansas City Art Institute, Controller at Donnelly College in Kansas City, KS, and ten years of K-12 financial accounting in Kansas.  She has also served as adjunct instructor of accounting and business law.  She earned a BS in Accounting and Business from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, and an MBA from Baker University, school of professional and graduate studies, in Baldwin, KS.  “I love higher education finance and administration,” Gillogly said, “and I am looking forward to working with everyone at BRTC.”

Dickson has been a Business Technology instructor at BRTC since 2001.  He holds an AA in General Education and an AAS in Business Technology – Networking option, both from BRTC, and BS and MS degrees in Management Information Systems, bothfrom Arkansas State University.

Statler is a graduate of Pocahontas High School and holds both BSE and MSE degrees in Math from Arkansas State University as wells as Adult Education Certification.  She has served as Math Department Head at BRTC for the past two years and math instructor since 1994.  She began at BRTC in 1987 as Employment Transition Coordinator and then worked as Adult Education Instructor from 1988-1994.

Both Dickson and Statler will continue teaching with the addition of administrative responsibilities.
