BRTC Enters Articulation Agreement with Crowley’s Ridge College

On Thursday, July 10 Black River Technical College (BRTC) entered an articulation agreement with Crowley’s Ridge College (CRC) in Paragould. With this partnership both institutions will be able to offer students interested in business a seamless transition from one place to the other.

Per the agreement, BRTC students in Associate of Science in Business programs can transfer those courses and credits to CRC’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing programs.

"BRTC is grateful to partner with CRC, as both institutions strive to serve their students and surrounding communities,” Dr. Brad Baine, Vice President of Academic Affairs, said. “The proximity of the two colleges will help students maintain their local community involvement and professional responsibilities as they complete their respective degrees."

For students wanting to get their basics to transfer to a 4-year university, the Associate of Science in Business is the state-approved general education requirement for business majors. Also available through BRTC’s business program is accounting, business administration, computer information, medical coding, medical office administration, and microcomputer repair.
