BRTC Employees Use Skills to Spread Holiday Cheer

POCAHONTAS, AR Jan. 7— Black River Technical employees from the past and present used their skills to spread holiday cheer. Several employees contributed to the holiday display, Christmas on Elm Street, in Ravenden, Arkansas.

Benny Walls, former carpentry instructor; Earl Mathews, former diesel instructor; David Statler and Gary Meier, former machine tool instructors; Al Seyler, former electricity instructor; Sandy Baltz, former fine arts instructor; Vernon Cates, former welding instructor; and Ricky Gunn current welding instructor all contributed to the display. Some of the display items date back to 1988 and were used on front lawn of BRTC Vo-Tech before it became a community college.

The display is set up and run by current BRTC Auto Collision instructor, Butch Dail, with his family and the Ravenden Fire Department. The display was located at 219 N. Elm, Ravenden, AR.
