Electricity Instructor Jack DeLoach has retired from Black River Technical College (BRTC) after 11 years of service.

“For the last 11 years, Jack has been providing quality instruction for the students in the Industrial Electricity program at BRTC. As an instructor, Jack has invested into the lives of his students on a professional and personal level. We are grateful for the outstanding service that Jack has provided the college, as we strive to meet the learning needs of the students and communities that we serve. While we will miss seeing Jack around campus, we wish him a happy retirement,” Dr. Brad Baine, Vice President of Academic Affairs, said.

DeLoach was recognized during an end-of-the-year celebration for BRTC faculty and staff. He was presented with a plaque and a bench to thank him for his commitment to the college.

BRTC’s Industrial Automation and Industrial Robotics programs prepare students to install, maintain, repair, operate, and trouble shoot the physical machines and control systems used to automate industrial processes. Students learn how specialized technology including equipment trainers, computer software, and robots can make industrial processes more cost effective, more cost efficient, and less prone to errors.
