BRTC Donates PPEs to 1st Choice Healthcare

Tonya Hankins, BRTC Director of Practical Nursing, gives Sandra Green, APRN, Chief Nursing Officer at 1st Choice, several N95 respirators, surgical masks, and isolation gowns to assist in the COVID-19 pandemic

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, healthcare facilities around the nation are utilizing an increased amount of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) items such as masks, gowns, and gloves. On March 20,, 2020, BRTC\’s nursing department was more than happy to assist 1st Choice Healthcare when they requested supplemental supplies until distributors can be delivered to their 6 clinics.

1st Choice Healthcare has offices in Ash Flat, Corning, Paragould, Pocahontas, Salem, and Walnut Ridge. 1st Choice Healthcare is a non-profit, FTCA-deemed, community-governed organization who offers healthcare, case management, health education, nutritional counseling, and chronic disease management.
