BRTC CTC welding and industrial electricity students that visited Greenbrier (L to R): Logan Layne, Davin Jones, Landen Buckley, Ridge Thomas, Hunter Green, Cody Barnes, Taylorlee Franke, and Brantlee Trout.

Black River Technical College (BRTC) Career and Technical Center (CTC) Paragould students recently toured Greenbrier’s Paragould plant.

Students enrolled in welding and industrial electricity were treated to a tour by BRTC/Greenbrier Welding Instructor Steve Kiker, Greenbrier Plant Manager Tom Hazlewood, and Steel Shop Operations Manager Derick Brandon. A safety representative gave a safety talk about the do’s and don’ts of factory safety while walking through the factory.

“We showed and explained the many working positions and the outcomes of each one for the completed car,” said Kiker. “We stopped frequently and answered questions.”
