BRTC CTC Students Explore Opportunities at BRTC\’s Corporate and Community Department

BRTC Career and Technical Center students visited the Corporate and Community Education Department on the BRTC Paragould campus recently to learn about available electrical and plumbing apprenticeships offered in the evening.

BRTC employee Brad Caffrey spoke with students about the plumbing apprenticeship he is currently participating in while simultaneously working in the maintenance department at BRTC. Students also learned about the CDL program offered at BRTC and practiced their driving skills on an 18-wheeler simulator.

Samantha Mitchell also worked with the students teaching them how to create a vision board, which encourages the students to look toward goals for the future and how they will achieve them.

Spring registration for Concurrent and Technical Courses is under way right now. It is open to current 11th and 12th grade students or recent graduates.
