BRTC Awards the VALIC Community Spirit Scholarship for Fall 2020

POCAHONTAS, AR August 6, 2020 –  Amanda Gramling of Pensacola, Florida, has received the VALIC Community Spirit Scholarship made possible by funding from VALIC.  Gramling is a 2012 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School.   She is married to Blake Gramling and they have a daughter, Paytyn.  She is seeking an Associate of Applied Science – Medical Office Administration.

The VALIC Community Spirit Scholarship is a 2019 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarship.  The 2019 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students attending BRTC.  Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.
