BRTC Awards the Nielson Bainbridge Group Scholarship for Fall 2020

POCAHONTAS, AR July 31, 2020 –  Tara Vance of Paragould has received the Nielson Bainbridge Group Scholarship made possible by funding from Nielson Bainbridge Group.  Vance is a 2000 graduate of Clay County Central High School and is the daughter of Tim and Teresa Tracer.  She and her husband Bobby have three children.  She is seeking an Associate of Arts in General Education.

The Nielson Bainbridge Group Scholarship is a 2019 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarship.  The 2019 Annual IBERIABANK/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament named scholarships have been awarded to 17 students attending BRTC.  Each scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship.  The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and meets GPA requirements.
