BRTC Awards the Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker Memorial Scholarship

POCAHONTAS, AR Jan. 12 — BRTC has awarded the Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker Memorial Scholarship to Madelyn Hart of Pocahontas.

Hart is a 2021 graduate of Pocahontas High School and the daughter of Gene and Heather Hart of Pocahontas. Hart was a member of the Pocahontas High School FFA and the Lady Redskins basketball team. She is an Arkansas State 4-H ambassador and teen star.

The Larry Baker family created the Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker Memorial Scholarship in memory of Larry Baker’s parents, Leondus and Gladys Brown Baker.
