BRTC awards the L.D. Rose Family Scholarship

2023 10 20_Beau Malone - Black River Technical College

Beau Malone of Weiner has been awarded the L.D. Rose Family Scholarship, made possible by funding from L.D. Rose and Pocahontas Aluminum Company.

Malone is a 2022 graduate of Westside High School and the son of Meredith and Jason Malone. He is seeking a degree in Industrial Electricity.

The L.D. Rose Family Scholarship is an annual Novaria/BRTC Foundation Golf Tournament scholarship. Each golf scholarship is sponsored by a $1,000 donor who is able to name the scholarship. The Black River Technical College Foundation matches the $1,000 donation allowing students to be awarded $1,000 per semester, fall and spring, provided the student maintains enrollment and GPA requirements.
