BRTC Awards the BRTC President’s Scholarship

Black River Technical College recently awarded the BRTC President’s Scholarship to Britton Wofford of Piggott.

Wofford is a 2006 graduate of Piggott High School and is seeking a degree in nursing.

He is married to Felecia Wofford and the pair have two children, Brayden and Mackenzy. Wofford is the son of Dale Wofford and Tonnie Bateman.

The BRTC President’s Scholarship pays full tuition for fall and spring semesters provided the recipient maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and full-time enrollment. All recipients had to submit a 100-200-word self-descriptive essay.
