De Hallert of Maynard has been awarded the Sylvia Cagle Single Parent Scholarship.
Hallert is a 1990 graduate of Douglas High School. She is the mother of 5 children: Jessica McCollum, Alisha Hallert, Lauren Hallert, Anthony Cupit, and Aiden Hudson. She is seeking a degree in business administration.
The Sylvia Cagle Single Parent Scholarship is provided by Darrell Cagle in honor of his mother, Sylvia, who raised him while being a single mother.
