$\"2018$ Black River Technical College has awarded one of the fall 2018 Walmart scholarships to Caleb Liddell of Paragould. Liddel is a 2018 graduate of Paragould High School. Liddell is seeking a degree in Fire Science and plans on a career as a firefighter.

Serendipity meets one Friday of the month to discuss contemporary books, including works of fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, and biographies dealing with timeless issues and themes. Books selected for Serendipity are designed to focus on diverse people, places, cultures, and ideas, and to stimulate awareness of shared aspects of the human condition.
