Landen Gettings of Pocahontas has been awarded the Ken and Jan Ziegler Bridging the Gap Scholarship made possible by funding from Ken and Jan Ziegler.
Gettings is a graduate of Pocahontas High School and is seeking a career in the medical field.
The Ken and Jan Ziegler Bridging the Gap Scholarship was created to help close the gap for first-time-entering freshman students relying on loans or paying out-of-pocket. This scholarship helps assist these students in completing their desired career certificate or degree by funding their tuition and fees each semester, provided the student maintains GPA and enrollment requirements.
