Black River Technical College has awarded five students a Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship.
The recipients of the scholarships are James Hargrove, Thomas Roberts, Madysen Bounds, Keith Quinn, and Jesse Jones. Each student was awarded $1,000 to be used for tuition, books, and small personal tools required by the program.

The Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship is available for students currently enrolled or enrolling in machine tool-based training at BRTC. Scholarships range from $500-$1500 per semester and are renewable for a second semester as long as the student is enrolled as a full-time student and maintains a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
