Black River Technical College (BRTC) is pleased to announce Mariah Dowdy of Paragould has been awarded the Florence Nightingale Scholarship.
Dowdy is a 2012 graduate of Greene County Tech High School. She is married to Trent Dowdy and together they share three children, Liam, Miles, and Vivian. She is seeking a degree in nursing.
The Nightingale Scholarship is sponsored and chosen by the BRTC nursing faculty and staff. Recipients are chosen based on qualities that exemplify the spirit of caring embodied by Florence Nightingale. These nurses are motivators and visionaries who contribute to the redefining of the profession of nursing
